Brandi K. Washer

Brandi was born and raised in Southern California, on a little ranch in the middle of nowhere (Boulevard). She learned to ride at a very young age competing in local gymkhanas on her moms horse “Tanner” an American Quarter Horse. She loved the competition and the adrenaline rush she got from barrel racing so that’s what she stuck with. She then started entering local jackpots and her addiction only grew. In her early teens she discovered that she had a way with the young horses, she could start them with a light hand and eventually get them to run barrels. To her they are not just horses but partners. In 2002 she was a Lakeside Rodeo Princess during the competition she won Miss Horsemanship on her horse Tater and Miss Photogenic. On a more personal note she and her boyfriend of 6 years, Carson, now have a small herd of animals consisting of two horses, Brandi's mare Cadillac, (a six year old Quarter Horse she recently started on barrels), and Gator, Carson's two year old Quarter Horse.  They also have two dogs Detroit and Drifter. Some of her hobbies include, barrel racing, 4x4ing, driving to Arizona to sight see, starting young horses and going to rodeos. Prior to working for Dr.Sergent Brandi has worked for a small animal vet and a horse trainer. She has now worked for Dr. Sergent for two years with great success, she learns more and more about the horse industry everyday and is very grateful for the great opportunity she has to be working with such talented Veterinarians.
